HERE’S THE BASICS
(THAT YOU SHOULD READ)

  • Fireweed Shop & Studios is the go-to shop in downtown Driggs, Idaho for unique gifts and goods.

The shop features a thoughtfully curated selection of handmade, small-batch, and artisan goods with a focus on nature-inspired, comfortably modern interpretations of traditional craft.

To date, the shop has featured more than 100 artists and makers!

The celebration of an adventurous lifestyle, closeness to nature, creativity, community, and thoughtful, slow living are at the center of what we do.

  • Most of our artists live in the PNW and Rocky Mountain West – many in Idaho, and a handful in Teton Valley.

If you don’t live in the mountains or Rocky Mountain West, please don’t be discouraged!

We’ve found that a carefully curated, thematically aligned selection of goods best serves our local community as well as visitors to Teton Valley – if your work feels thematically aligned, please submit your interest!

  • While we love supporting both local and regional makers, we can’t carry everyone’s goods in the shop. It’s only 220 square feet, after all! We take pride in having a very carefully curated selection of items at Fireweed – ultimately, that means that we can’t say yes to everyone.

We also strive not to offer too much of the same thing – you know how easy it is to make choices at Trader Joe’s? We try to give customers the same experience at Fireweed! For example: if we have fleece hats from one artist, we won’t bring in other fleece hats unless they significantly differ in style.

  • WHOLESALE:

We have wholesale relationships with most of the artists we work with at Fireweed.

This pricing is typically 40-50% of MSRP.

    COMMISSION:

Fireweed sells work from a limited number of artists on commission, typically on higher-priced items. Our commission structure is typically 60% artist, 40% shop. Vendors are paid for sales in the previous month by the 15th of the following month. (ex: Payment for May sales will be sent by June 15th). Checks are mailed with a monthly sales report or sent via online payment. If you are interested in selling some of your items on commission, please indicate that in your interest form below.

  • Since Teton Valley is so small, we try our hardest to stock unique items that aren’t sold elsewhere in Teton Valley (Victor, Driggs, Tetonia). We ask that new vendors only have retail representation at Fireweed within Teton County, ID.

This helps keep our shop unique and exciting and ensures we aren’t competing with our neighbors to sell your items!

If your work is featured in another shop, we ask that you offer unique items at Fireweed, or consider working with one shop or the other.

This does not apply to markets or other occasional in-person selling events.

(If you sell at a shop in Jackson, we don’t count that as Teton Valley!)
