WHAT: Pop-Up Maker’s Market at Fireweed Shop & Studios

MARKET HOURS: 10am - 4pm
Please plan to be present the whole time!

SET-UP: Saturday, August 26th, 8am - 10am

DAY-OF MARKET INFORMATION
for August 20th, 2022 Maker’s Market

1. Set Up & Teardown

  • Set Up: Saturday, August 26th, 8am - 10am.

    • Please arrive early to set up your booth with your art and sellables. 

    • Your 10x10’ space is yours to do with as you please! Think of it as your tiny shop for the day.

    • It may be helpful to bring a cart, dolly, wagon, etc. to transport your booth, materials, and work! 

    • You must be fully set up and open for business by 10am when the market begins! 

  • Teardown begins at 4 pm on Saturday - please do not start to pack up any earlier!

2. Booth Layout

  • Booth spaces will be marked in the parking lot. Please use the Layout Map in your email for reference and DOUBLE CHECK you are setting up in the correct space. Please ask if you are unsure!

3. Parking for Unloading: Saturday Morning

  • You may park in the Fireweed lot to unload for the market on Saturday morning. After unloading, please move your vehicle(s) to public street parking near the shop, Broulim’s (across the way), or public parking behind the GeoTourism center across the street. The parking lot will not be open for vehicles on Saturday!

3. Tent Staking & Weights

  • Please weigh down your tent if possible. Stakes are ok, too! Wind sucks, and while we hope it doesn’t happen during the market, let’s do our best to ensure we have no wind-related disasters! 

4. Site Info

  • A bathroom is available for you at Fireweed. It is the door marked “Restroom” beyond Unit #4!

  • If you need a space to rest for a bit, get out of the sun, or store any personal items during the day, Katie’s studio, Unit #2, will be available for you.

  • Bring your water bottle, it may be hot!

    • Water from the sink in the restroom is perfectly drinkable!

SALES TAX & FORMS:

All Makers: you are responsible for collecting 6% sales tax on all sales!

  • If you are a temporary seller, i.e. do not currently hold a Sales Tax Permit with the State of Idaho, you are responsible for submitting your form to the State by the date listed on the form. Please find resources below:
