GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS
for Summer 2023 Solo Artist Pop-Ups
1. Pop-Ups are for local and regional artists only.
Please make every effort to be present for the market – if something comes up and you need to send a friend in your place to sell your wares, please communicate that with Katie as soon as possible.
2. Artwork and products must be original, designed, and produced by, or under the direct supervision of the exhibiting artist. No mass-produced or re-sold items, please!
Basically: it should be your work or have your work on it! Items such as stickers, prints, and other items that may have partner producers are just fine – if you have a question, please reach out to fireweedshopandstudios@gmail.com!
5. Booths must be open for business during the advertised Pop-Up Hours; 9am-4pm unless otherwise agreed upon.
6. Exhibitors must furnish their own tents and displays.
Booth spaces are 10 feet x 10 feet. White tents are preferred. You must use WEIGHTS to secure your booth – we have plenty of wind in Idaho! Please plan for ~40 pounds per tent leg. No “price reduced” or “Sale” signs are allowed in the Booths.
7. Exhibitors display all works at their own risk.
Fireweed Shop & Studios is not responsible for damage, theft, or loss of an exhibitor‘s property or personal injury resulting from participation in a Solo Pop-Up.
8. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up their own space after their pop-up.
Tear down will be from 4 pm until completed on Saturday. Please do not begin tearing down any sooner than 4 pm, unless we face inclement weather.
9. All sales will be made directly through exhibiting artists.
10. Exhibitors will be responsible for collection of 6% sales tax on all sales.
If you already have an Idaho seller’s permit, report your sales tax as usual. If you are a temporary seller, please see the “Sales Tax & Forms” section below.
11. COVID-19 Safety: Artisans reserve the right to wear masks, require hand sanitizer use in their booth, and enforce social distancing within their 10’x10’ space.
12. Booth Fees:
If selected, your non-refundable $125 Booth Fee will be due no later than one week after acceptance. Booth fees are non-refundable. Should you need to back out of your Pop-Up Date, please let us know as soon as possible. Booth fees are used to help market your pop-up!
13. Fireweed Shop & Studios reserves the right to remove any exhibitor for violation of any regulations.
SALES TAX & FORMS:
All Makers: you are responsible for collecting 6% sales tax on all sales!
If you are a temporary seller, i.e. do not currently hold a Sales Tax Permit with the State of Idaho, you are responsible for submitting your form to the State by the date listed on the form. Please find resources below:
