KNITTING IN THE ROUND: Knitting 201 with North Fork Knit

Great for anyone who completed a scarf in the Never-Ever Knitting class or has some knitting experience. This will be a two-part class in which participants will make a super-chunky knit/purl beanie. You’ll have a completed beanie just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Class participants will receive (1) 20% off coupon for any additional supplies required for class, as well as (1) 10% off coupon for your next yarn and/or knitting purchase at Fireweed.

Maximum Students: 6

Night 1: 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, February 4th

• Picking a pattern, needles, and yarn type

• Casting on in the round

• Knit stitch refresher and intro to purling

Night 2: 6:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday, February 11th

• Crown decreases

• Weaving in ends

• Next steps: project suggestions!

• -1 Skein Malabrigo Rasta Yarn (included in cost, class price $20, ($25 MSRP, 20% off for class)

• Stitch Markers (included in class cost)

• Size 15 16” round needles (available at Fireweed, $12)

• Knit Rescue Kit or crochet hook (Stitch fixer $6, available at Fireweed)

• Tapestry needle ($3, available at Fireweed)
